Sloppy Cajun Sands

I don't really know what to call this because it's a cross between a burger patty and a pate. It's packed full of protein and it's really filling!

2 Tbsp oil
4 cloves minced garlic
1.5 Large white onions
1 Cup chick peas
1 tsp thyme, basil & chili powder
2 tsp red pepper flakes
Dash of red pepper flakes
1 Cup TVP (textured vegetable protein)

Heat oil over medium heat & add garlic. Add onions and chickpeas & saute with thyme, basil, chili powder, red pepper flakes & cajun spices to taste (depending on how spicy you like it)
Add TVP to food processor & add above mixture when onions are translucent
Be careful not to puree but blend lightly until its mixed all through & add 1 cup bread crumbs & 2 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes (optional)
Seperate into patties and cut with the lid from a jar to get the ideal size. Cover both sides in bread crumbs and bake in the oven @ 450 until crispy (about 20 minutes)
